Introduction

Perry Yang is one of the few lawyers in China specialized in ship construction, ship repair and ship sale & purchase, with abundant experience in such industry and familiar with relevant laws. He has represented Chinese shipyard and companies in arbitrations in London, UK and Hong Kong, China, and has formed an international team of lawyers, for the purpose of protecting the lawful rights and interests of Chinese ship construction industry. He served as the vice director of the 10th Maritime Practice Committee of Shanghai Bar Association.

Perry Yang also focuses his practice over compliance regarding financing, environment protection, commercial advertising and state-owned enterprise. He currently serves the director of the 11th Compliance Practice Committee of Shanghai Bar Association.

Perry Yang was the founding partner of Shanghai Hansheng Law Firm. He took charge of Hansheng Law Firm merger and decided the fundamental system of the law firm. In 2020, he restructured Shanghai Glinks Law Firm, with the aim to build it into a high-end, professional, boutique and international law firm.

Perry Yang attaches great importance to party building work. He formed the General Party Branch of Shanghai Hansheng Law Firm, which was upgraded to a party committee. Through the innovation of activities and multiple combinations, the special party building of the two new organizations was created, which received praise from the society.
